The Missoula Humane Society is offering two new classes!!!

Are you having trouble getting your dog to cooperate? Do you have conflicting training information? Do you want to learn more about your cat’s behavior? Are you interested in having the entire family participate in the care of your dog or cat? Well, we are offering two new classes with YOU in mind! Check out our Calendar of Events to find out when the next class is being offered.

INTRO TO DOG TRAINING was created for people who are interested in learning the most modern and humane methods of dog training. The information presented in the class will set you on the path towards acquiring the basic skills necessary to having a happy, well-trained dog. Discover:

You will learn how to control your dog in a manner that will make your dog want to please YOU! We will show you how much fun it is to have a dog as a companion. And we want you and your dog to live happily ever after.

Check out the manual that accompanies the class (new!)

UNDERSTANDING CAT BEHAVIOR was created for people who are interested in how cats think and how they relate to their constantly changing, demanding environment. This class will give you a better understanding of normal feline responses and will teach you how to channel those responses to make the most of the bond you have with your cat. In this class we will discuss:

  • Keeping your cat off the counters
  • how to know what your cat is telling you
  • How to REALLY play with your cat

The information presented in each cat class will set you on the path towards acquiring the basic skills necessary to having a happy, well-adjusted and confident cat. This class will arm you with the basic knowledge needed to make informed decisions about you and your cat.

Check out the manual that accompanies the class (new!)

These introductory classes are FREE to the public and are offered at the Missoula Public Library. All topics are covered in a single session, which is approximately 90 minutes in length. Please phone 549-3934 for more information and to sign up for either class. Also feel free to email us to register. Or both!
